December 2003 ArchivesWe Didn't Start The Fire · December 13, 2003 I love a good Billy Joel tune don't you? Maybe some of you caught Greg's heartfelt rendition of 'Piano Man' on the last tour. Have a good holidays folks. Posted at 12:17 PM | Comments (0) No Seriously, Thank You... · December 02, 2003 Well, I just got home, it feels weird, but it's nice to be back. Last night's show in Seattle was one of our best in my opinion, even though the crowd seemed a little 'reserved' at times. Being as it was the last night of the tour, the band let it all hang out, my fingers still hurt today. Thank you Seattle, what a wonderful gig to end the tour on. I want to say a huge thank you to all the folks that came out to see us on the road this time around. I never felt alone in any city that we were in, TS fans really are a special breed. You guys gave us such love and support, I hope that we were able to repay you by giving you a night you will never forget. So now we get to take a month off before rehearsals start for Europe. If anything happens in the meantime I'll be sure to let you know. I'm aware that a lot of you are asking for details about a second leg of a US tour, but I don't have any details right now, so sit tight and I'll let you know if it's going to happen in due time. One thing is for sure, those of you that got to see us in a small club, cherish it, 'cos it probably aion't going to happen again. Oh, and feel free to keep sending emails, now I have some time to answer them. So, once again, thanks for all the love, you guys fucking rocked. There's a lot of people here who I don't know, yet they seem to know me. This is what happens at the end of a tour, no sleep, questionable behavior, etc. Hold on, did I say the end? I mean the whole tour, oops. I think the Twilight Singers pick up where Led Zep left off, for better or for worse. Portland got a healthy dose of rock tonight, and we were happy to deliver it. Joe Z. saved my ass when I came back out for The Killer and my bass rig was dead. Apparently one of my cables commited suicide during the break before the encore. Thanks Joe, I would never have figured it out. So tomorrow we head to Seattle, thank the lord it's a short drive. You know it's going to be a fun show, the last night of the tour is always a night for pulling out all the stops. I'm gonna miss these guys. Until Europe that is. By the way, all you folks who are bootlegging the shows, show a little class and send a copy to Lee so we can hear them, it's polite. I'll try to report in before I head back to LA. Stay safe people.
