Cincinnati's WOXY Closing Airwaves

Cincinnati's "future of rock and roll," 97X has sold its local broadcast license. The official transition should occur around May 1.

WOXY has been a strong supporter of native son Greg Dulli and his bands The Afghan Whigs and The Twilight Singers.

The station will be moving to an internet only format. Their stream is available via their website at WOXY.com and on iTunes radio.
