Rock Hall 10th Anniversary
Celebrating their 10th year, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, OH is offering discounted admission and special exhibits. Of note to Whigs fans:
On the ground level, there is a large timeline of sorts and a special section dedicated to musicians hailing from the state of Ohio. Bands such as Devo (Akron) and Nine Inch Nails (Cleveland) hail from the northern part of the state, and others such as the Isley Brothers or the Afghan Whigs come from Cincinnati. All are featured in the exhibit.

A Man’s World
I’m finally getting around to uploading several classic Afghan Whigs features from Alternative Press. For your enjoyment, I present this photo of the band from the February 1994 issue. Expect scans from the entire article online in a few weeks.
You can order this issue from AP, if you just can’t wait. A wonderful cover photo, as well.

…But the spine-chill award went to Memphis soul singer Susan Marshall, who belted a powerful “Do Right Woman” that practically brought people to their knees.
Twilight Singers Merch is Back

The official Twilight Singers merch store has moved to a new host, Kung Fu Nation.
The site currently offers two t-shirt designs for sale: “Austin” (pictured) and the classic “Superstar” girly tee.
New Moon Maan Tracks
Rick McCollum’s Moon Maan has released three rough mixes from their debut album at Moonmaan.com. The tracks are: “Light of the Moon”, “Chain Your Soul”, and “Feed the Methman.”
I’m trying hard not to gush here; but DAMN these songs sound good. There’s a classic ’70s R&B vibe, lots of wah, and great vocals from Rick. This album is going to be killer and I can’t wait to catch them on the road.
The band anticipates an official release this fall.
