Upcoming Moon Maan Dates

Former Afghan Whigs guitarist Rick McCollum’s new band, Moon Maan, has two upcoming dates in Minneapolis. Check them out:

The band is in pre-production with 11 songs, and will be recording this fall. A new website for the band will be launched in the coming weeks.

Rick was kind enough to send over a three track demo of early Moon Maan material, and I cannot wait to hear the full-length. The sound is in the traditional blues-based rock vein; but Rick’s singing and playing (of course) really make the songs special. If you can, make sure you support them live and get a feel for this exciting new project.
