Steve Myers Debuts “Mighty Fine”

Former Afghan Whigs backup vocalist and sometimes Twilight Singer Steve Myers is debuting his new band Mighty Fine on Friday, Nov. 5th in New York at Between (a Rock and a Hard Place) – the back room at Plaid.

Described as “Sweaty Rump Shakin’ Garage Rock,” Mighty Fine is fronted by Myers, with New York Punk legend Mitro (guitar), Jagon Eldridge (Sax), Paul Verciglio (bass) and Richie Pomerantz (drums).

Think Stooges meet the Temptations. Should be a good time.

Details: Doors open at 9 pm with FREE ADMISSION til 11pm on the Underbelly list (below) – reduced admission from 11 til 1 am. OPEN BAR from 9-10 pm at the BACK BAR, and $5 whiskey or vodka specials ’til 1 AM. $4 beers til 1 am.
