Nothing new today, so let’s take a dip in the archives.
In ’98, Cincy’s Citybeat published two long format pieces on the Afghan Whigs, in celebration of the album 1965.
Ah, 1998. Let’s all take a moment to remember: The band had released their most upbeat and accessible album. “Somethin’ Hot” was high on the college radio charts. The tour that followed was unbelievably good – every night, and lasted a full year.
