Twilight Singers on True Blood (Sort Of)

I’ve received lots of emails saying that the band on last night’s episode of HBO’s vampire drama “True Blood” covered “I’m Ready” by The Twilight Singers.

Update: According to the show’s credits (and eagle-eyed Russ) the performer in the episode was C.C. Adcock.

    Apparently C.C. Adcock has worked with Mike Napolitano….thus the TS connection.

    Turns out C.C. Adcock has worked with Twilight Singers producer, Mike Napolitano. From Adcock’s website –

    “…working with his old friend and confidante Tarka Cordell and respected New Orleans engineer/producer Mike (aka ‘Mic’) Napolitano, they were able to combine the different formats and different sessions and finish this group of songs. “

    He definitely sang the vocals. The music wouldn’t immediately catch your ear as “I’m Ready”
