Gutter Twins to perform at Hydro Connect

Hydro Connect festival which is located in the ancient grounds of an 18th Century castle in the Scottish Highlands and held over the weekend of Friday 29th to Sunday 31st August in 2008 has announced more acts for the line-up who will all also make their Hydro Connect debut this year.

Conor Oberst (Bright Eyes) will make his Scottish debut with his new musical project The Magic Valley Band. Joining Colin and his band on the bill will be Mark Lanegan and Greg Dulli’s new project The Gutter Twins, Michael Franti & Spearhead, beatboxer Beardyman, Belfast’s Foy Vance, electro acoustic indie stars Howling Bells, and New York’s Asobi Seksu.

They join the acts which have been announced so far who include Kasabian, Franz Ferdinand, Sigur Ros, Paulo Nutini, Manic Street Preachers, Bloc Party, Goldfrapp, Duffy, Nick Cave’s Grinderman, Amy MacDonald, Elbow, The Gossip, Spiritualized, Mercury Rev, The Coral (Acoustic), Roots, The Breeders, Levellers, and Camera Obscura, and Sia.
