Indianapolis Setlist and Show Notes

GET THERE EARLY TO SEE JEFF KLEIN. Jeff did a great job tonight, and there were not enough people to see it. Really, he’s incredible.

Afterhours plays a club like they’re in a stadium. Intensity and energy. At both shows, I’ve heard people comment “They’re (Afterhours) playing ‘My Time (Has Come)’. They’re actually playing “White Widow.” Pick up their album. You’ll like it.

The crowd was there for The Twilight Singers. I haven’t seen a crowd that excited at a Dulli show since Washington DC ’98. Singing, dancing and glad to be alive. Indy, you outdid yourselves. I’m glad I could be a part of it. Without hesitation, this is the best live incarnation of Twilight. You owe it to yourself to see this show.

Twilight Singers Setlist:
Toward the Waves
I’m Ready
Esta Noche
Too Tough To Die
Bonnie Brae
That’s Just How That Bird Sings
Fountain & Fairfax
Teenage Wristband
All You Need is Love/Love
Annie Mae
Candy Cane Crawl
There’s Been an Accident
Early Today (and Later That Night)
Martin Eden
Forty Dollars

Encore
The Killer
Crazy (Gnarls Barkley)
Underneath the Waves
Deep Hit Of Morning Sun (Primal Scream)

I won’t be at another show until Atlanta – so it’s up to you to send in those setlists!

Absolutely cannot wait for Boston. Keep the tour updates coming… they’re appreciated.

You gonna make it out to the East Coast? If you’re make it to tbe Boston show, a beer is on me.

And thanks for the heads up on the CD101 broadcast, I saw your post just in time to catch the online stream…

For folks that went to the shows…is the “Crazy” encore number a combo of Afghan Whigs/Gnarls Barkley? Or is it just a cover of the Gnarls song (which is great, btw)?

Going to see them in NYC on June 1st! (My 5th Dulli show!) Any Summerskiss folks gonna be there?

  3. admin says:

Crazy is just the Gnarls song. No Whigs cross pollination, while that would be cool.

Nope, I’m not going to be at the Boston, show – but I bet my friend Rob will be there. You can buy him a drink for both of us. 🙂

I’ll be at the TLA show and Irving Plaza show. Can’t wait. Seen them 3 times in Philly and twice in NYC (Irving and Brooklyn)

Funny, looks like the little starlet Paris Hilton has aspirations of a “Crazy” cover as well. http://music.yahoo.com/read/news/32717877

Perhaps she should check out T.S. at Avalon in June for an idea of how a cover should sound.

I’m noticing “Dead To Rights” hasn’t popped up yet…too bad. Great song.

Anyone going to Boston or NYC? Get in touch with me at ScottWeiland@gmail.com. Let’s get some drinks.
