Produced by Greg Dulli. Engineered by John Curley. The Dark End Of The Street written by Dan Penn, and it is likely that the Whigs took their inspiration from the Percy Sledge version of this song. Mr. Superlove is a cover of the Ass Ponys, also released on the Afghan Whigs/Ass Ponys split 7″ (see Compilations section) and the Debonair/Gentlemen cds. Gentlemen taken from the album Gentlemen. 12” released with “limited edition poster” (2,000 copies). Some 12″-s included promotional press release with gig info. The Dark End Of The Street was omitted from the 7” release.
