From all accounts the Susan Marshall and Friends show at the Hotel Cafe in Hollywood on Saturday was a huge success.

SK reader Damon had this to say:

Show was AWESOME – Susan started the night solo on electric piano, no introduction just started playing – Going To Town slow and sweet – lots of guests – Lucinda Williams and others – and Dulli was prime. Great show.

Indeed, Susan started the show with a slow, jazz rendition of The Afghan Whigs’ “Going to Town.” For Mr. Dulli’s portion of the show, he performed “Follow You Down” (Twilight Singers), “Tell Everyone” (Faces), “Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow” (Shirelles), and “Act That Way” (Susan Marshall) with Susan and her band.
